| Los alumnos
de 1º de Bachillerato del IES Santa Clara hemos
tenido la oportunidad de participar en un intercambio
de inglés con un instituto de Cornualles. Estuvimos
allí con nuetros profesores Mª José
Ruiz y David Rioseras del 3 al 12 de febrero. Queremos
contaros nuestra experiencia mientras esperamos la
venida de nuestros amigos ingleses.

Some students of 1Bachelor of
the IES Santa Clara High School have had the opportunity
to participate in an exchange with a high school English
in Cornwall. Our Partner teachers were there with
Mª Jose Ruiz and David Rioseras from 3 to 12
February. We tell our experience as we await the coming
of our English friends.

Our trip to England has been an amazing
experience.
The afternoon we arrived, we spent our time with the
family. Some of us, went to a restaurant, others went
to a party, and others stayed at home. But all of
us were very tired due to the flight.
The next day we were with the families.
Some of us went to the church, another went to a concert
or shopping to the city center.
On Monday we had to go with our english partners
to the college. There we went to their classes and
we show how they work in their day a day. In the afternoon
we ate cornish cream and tea at college with our english
partners.

On Tuesday we went to St. Ives, a little and pretty
village near the sea. There, we visited the Tate´s
museum of art.
On Wednesday we visited the maritime museum and we
went shopping. On the afternoon we ate in a chinese
restaurant all together, spanish and english students.
On Thursday we walked from college to the train station
(what take us 45 minutes of walk) and we went to the
Truro. We had a couple hours of english clases and
then free time.
On Friday we went to Truro Center to take more clases.
More late we visited the cathedral and we saw the
Cornish Museum.

En el Eden's

The Saturday we went to the Eden Project with our
english students. The Eden project is a really big
forest with plants and trees from all over the world.
There is an ice skating ring so after walking arround
the forest, we went ice skating and it was a funny
experience in spite of where one of the english students
fell over and broke his theeth.
This was the end of our trip to England.
The most interesting thing is that we saw lots of
alpacas but we didn´t see any of the famous
elfs of Cornwall.

CORNUALLES 2012: PROGRAMA DE INTERCAMBIO
Nuestro viaje a Inglaterra ha sido una experiencia
increíble.
La tarde que llegamos pasamos nuestro tiempo con la
familia. Algunos de nosotros fuimos a un restaurante,
otros se fueron a una fiesta, y otros se quedaron
en casa. Pero todos nosotros estábamos muy
cansados debido al vuelo.
Al día siguiente nos encontramos con las familias.
Algunos de nosotros fuimos a la iglesia, otros fueron
a un concierto o de compras al centro de la ciudad.
El lunes tuvimos que ir con nuestros padres ingleses
al instituto. Allí fueron a sus clases y vimos
cómo trabajan en su día a día.
Por la tarde comimos crema de Cornualles y el té
en la universidad con nuestros compañeros ingleses.
El martes fuimos a Santa Inés, un pequeño
pueblo y muy cerca del mar. Allí visitamos
el museo Tate de arte.
El miércoles visitamos el museo marítimo
y nos fuimos de compras. Por la tarde comimos en un
restaurante chino todos juntos, los estudiantes de
español e inglés.
El jueves nos fuimos andando desde el colegio a la
estación de tren (lo que nos llevará
45 minutos de caminata) y nos fuimos a la Truro. Tuvimos
un par de horas de clases en inglés y luego
tiempo libre.
El viernes fuimos al centro Truro a tomar más
clases. Más tarde visitamos la catedral y vimos
el Museo de Cornualles.
El sábado fuimos a el Eden Project con nuestros
compañeros de inglés. El proyecto Eden
es un bosque muy grande con plantas y árboles
de todo el mundo. Hay una pista de patinaje sobre
hielo, así que después de caminar cerca
de la selva nos fuimos de patinaje sobre hielo y fue
una experiencia divertida, a pesar de que uno de los
estudiantes de inglés se cayó y se rompió
los dientes. Este fue el final de nuestro viaje a
Inglaterra.
Lo más interesante es que vimos un montón
de alpacas, pero no vimos a ninguno de los famosos
duendes de Cornualles.
